Then three months at his father's bedside changed the question entirely…
In 2016, Ravi Machani's father, a chairman and the man Ravi had always looked up to, took a vaccination before a trip to Africa and had a terrible reaction. For nearly a year, he lost his cognitive abilities. He still knew things from the past, but he lost the filter that once protected him. Ask him something confidential and he would simply share it. The family couldn't leave him alone with caregivers, not even trusted ones, because they never knew what someone might extract from him.
So Ravi took the night shift. Three months of it.
"That's when I realized what it is to be vulnerable," he says.
Two years later, in 2018, Ravi had a strong exit in real estate and found himself on a fork. One path led back to real estate and more money. The other led somewhere he couldn't yet see clearly. Then he came to Singularity and Abundance360, and found his path. Today that idea is Machani Robotics.
