The Bet: Building an Avatar Before Anyone Cared

In 2018, Samantha Tauber made a decision that would define her career.

She combined her corporate marketing career with years of studying musical theatre, music production, Unreal Engine, and XR virtual production—and used it all to create VNCCII: a futuristic superheroine and digital avatar she pilots through motion capture.

Before AI avatars became mainstream, she was already performing, interviewing global innovators, and storytelling as a virtual identity in real-time. During the COVID lockdown, she hosted Future Humans, a broadcast series where she embodied her avatar while speaking with technologists and thought leaders about humanity's trajectory.

A multidisciplinary project like VNCCII didn't fit easily into traditional industries or categories—but Samantha kept building.

The Breakthrough: A Book on the Moon

The validation came in ways she couldn't have predicted.

Her science fiction book and companion music album ‘VNCCII: The Awakening of a Divine Warrior’ will soon launch aboard NASA’s Astrobotic's Griffin Lander, powered by SpaceX's Falcon 9, and land on the Moon. Through NanoFiche and the Astroglph Mission —a million-year archival technology—her work will be preserved as part of a Galactic Library Preservation for Humanity, intended to safeguard human knowledge for future civilizations.

The foreword to her debut novel was written by Frank White, author of ‘The Overview Effect: Space Exploration and Human Evolution’.
